1. Who we are
Juvenile Race Analytics is run by Alexandru Albu, a sole trader in the United Kingdom. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you use juvenileraceanalytics.com. We are the data controller under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. What we collect
- Account data: your name and email address, collected by Clerk when you sign up.
- Billing data: your payment details, processed and stored by Stripe. We never see your full card number.
- Telegram data: if you join the members' Telegram group, your Telegram user id and username, so we can manage membership.
- Technical data: standard server logs (pages requested, browser, IP address) kept by our hosting provider.
3. How we use it
- To provide and manage your membership and free trial
- To take payments through Stripe
- To send emails about your membership (welcome, receipts, changes to the service)
- To keep the site secure and working
- To meet our legal obligations
We do not sell your data and do not use it for targeted advertising.
4. Legal basis
- Contract: to provide the membership you signed up for
- Legitimate interests: to keep the site secure and prevent fraud
- Legal obligation: to keep accounting records
5. Services that process your data for us
- Clerk: sign-in and accounts
- Stripe: payments and billing
- Vercel: website hosting
- Resend: sending our emails
- Telegram: the members' group, if you choose to join
Each has its own privacy policy and processes data under GDPR-compliant agreements.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account data while you have an account. If you ask us to delete it, or your membership has ended more than 12 months ago, we delete or anonymise it, except billing records, which Stripe keeps as financial rules require (usually 7 years).
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format.

8. Cookies
We use only essential cookies: to keep you signed in, and to remember your choices such as light or dark mode and phone or desktop view. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
9. Security
Everything is sent over HTTPS. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach our servers.
10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
